About the Event

Become a honey sommelier for the evening! Join us for a tasting session of honeys from all over the world and discover the reasons why each jar of honey tastes unique. Read More...

We invite you to a truly mellifluous journey into the world of honey! Just like wine, honey has terroir and is the product of a particular climate, flora and geology - its unique composition tells a distinctive and interesting story of where it has come from and the landscape in which the bees live. This is a fun interactive workshop run by Tanya and Esme Hawkes, a mother-daughter duo of beekeepers and founders of Therapi Honey Skincare. The pair are part of the FarmED Bee Team, where they manage the hives and help in our beekeeping courses.

On this unique evening you'll learn simple identification techniques and honey sommelier terms to help you communicate the subtleties of flavour, colour and aroma. You will travel the world as we taste and identify honeys from around the globe!

Ticket price includes welcome drink and honey themed nibbles on arrival.
