Rural Mental Health CPD
This course is ideal for people working in the rural community, those engaged with the wider supply chain and farming industry, including farm advisers, land agents, vets and agronomists. Learn how to recognise the signs of mental ill health within your colleagues and clients. The course is facilitated by Farming Community Network and covers content from two CPD-accredited FarmWell modules; Wellbeing Support for the Agricultural Community and Listening Skills and Difficult Conversations.
Introduction to Agriculture
This course is perfect for people with little or no agricultural experience who are either entering a career in the rural sector or would like a basic knowledge of farming and food production. We will cover a series of topics including: the history of UK agriculture, how the landscape and food systems we see today have evolved, a seasonal look at the modern farming year - including livestock, arable and horticulture, along with farming with nature.
Introduction to Regenerative Agriculture
This course is designed for people who are currently working in agriculture who would like a basic understanding of Regenerative Farming. Regenerative Farming seems to be the buzzword of the moment but what actually is it? What is the difference between regenerative and organic? In this course we will cover all principles of regenerative agriculture.
