About the Event

Discover why investing in your gut health - starting from the ground up - could be your best decision yet! Read More...

What if the key to better health starts with the ground beneath us? This talk explores the fascinating connection between soil health, food quality, and your gut microbiome. Just as diverse, nutrient-rich soil supports strong, resilient crops, a well-nourished gut fosters better digestion, immunity and so much more.

We’ll dive into questions like:

  • How does soil health impact the nutrients in our food?

  • What role do gut microbes play in optimising our health?

  • Is gut health worth all the hype?

  • How can we support both our gut and the planet through our food choices?

About the speaker

Dr Lucy Williamson is a Registered Nutritionist, gut health expert, and former Vet with a deep understanding of the natural world. Having worked closely with farming systems and food production, they bring a unique perspective on how the health of our soil and the food we eat directly impact human health.

Please arrive at 11:45 am. The talk will start at midday, and lunch will be served at 1:00 pm.

After the talk, you will get a freshly prepared, nutritious lunch from the FarmED cafe where you will be able to network with other guests.
